Through my research on this site I have determined that if I have a black car all of the trunk and inside quarters would be body color. However, you all have provided SO MUCH darn info to sort through :) -
Just confirming please.
Thanks !

Black - (is the color of the roots of her hair, but only her hairdresser knows - Homer and Jethro). Painted just like any other 65-66 Mustang at San Jose. No wiring, no plumbing, trunk hinges and lid installed along with the torsion rod and retainers.

Correct. Interior of the trunk (were a painter would see and reach without allot of bending or effort) was painted body color. This is over the
1- quarter panel sound deadener,
2- seam sealers
3- rear bumper guard mounting bolts
4- trunk lid
5- trunk hinges
6- trunk lid mounting hardware
all in place. In addition a small round bare area of the metal trunk floor would be visible around each of the rear dolly mounting holes would be present.
Also as a hint - this would mean that the lower trap door arm attachment anchor numbers are not painted with exterior colored paint. ;)
