Just curious.. I was tearing down the rear assy for my current project ( 68 390 4sp GT fastback, built in Metuchen 7/18/68 (really late) ) and the rear tag is dated 8GB, That's one week before the car was assembled. The car is a really unscrewed with 70K mile car that was parked in 1973. Everything is numbers matching and the rear has no indications of ever being apart, and all the other info on the tag is correct. Does anyone else have a car with the rear dated so close to the build date of the car ?? I could have another tag made, but I'm almost certain this is the original tag from the car.
Any thought's ??
