Radiator Hoses
« on: March 10, 2016, 12:31:52 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I'm just trying to figure what if any difference between a 1968 Mustang 390 engine radiator hoses and a 69 Mustang 390 radiator hoses?  From general appearance they look the same in size and clamp type.  The part numbers are slightly different.

If the hoses are the same why a different part number?

Thanks for any clarification.

Mark

Don't know /never studied the subject but consider it could be something internal (like the amount of webbing or something else) or the make up of the rubber compound

Thanks.  The local parts store shows it to be the same hose.  Mark

Of course their books would they are just selling something to fit and keeping the number of parts they sell to a minimum. Could even be an accordion looking one  ::)
