Just a suggestion - I ordered a set of "Showcals" (http://www.garagewraps.com/showcals.html) for our Saleen.
Very quick & easy to install/remove...  beats hauling a big board around. I LOVE them for cruise nights - set of 3. Install 1, 2, or all 3....

Remove them in about 10 seconds for judging, then re-install after.

I have a smaller version of this concept on my most of my cars, the Mustang club I belong to logo on the windshield lower RH side, and a city ID tag for city related functions on the windshield lower LH. They peel off and can be reused easily. Nice adaption.
