Factory Markings 101
« on: January 29, 2017, 03:18:59 PM »
Admin- Feel free to move if this belongs somewhere else.

I saved this article since I thought it was a great summary on the topic of copying factory markings and the issue it creates for concours enthusiasts.
It should be mandatory reading for anyone restoring a car.  ;)

Seems to reflect (in GTO circles) the same thing we've been saying since the internet (and before)  was opened to the public. But people will be people.  Think the author left out the implied responsibility one takes on when placing (original or incorrect) markings on their completed car.
