1969 and 1970 Interior Quarter Trim Panel Guide
« on: April 04, 2017, 05:30:53 PM »
Another quick short factoid that is sometimes missed on restored cars.  These interior quarter trim panels are different between the two years....details here:

Great article but I have to point out that a few '69 Shelbys had red interior. ;)

I will edit the comment to something like "the most common" or "the majority of" .....

I've seen 2 red cars with red interior and 1 white with blue stripes with red interior ::) The white one came on the same truck as my car and I thought it was the one I wanted until It was unloaded and I saw the red.

The roll bar cover was still black on those red interior Shelbys  so the original statement (" These panels were cut for the roll bar and were serviced in only two different colors
— black and white. ") would still apply for those red cars

Some good pics of an original roll bar trim cover albeit a beat up one.
The picture of the inside of the piece might be useful to add to the article, but it is straying a little off topic.
