67/68 heater core option

preaction:
Has anyone used the 67/68 heater core sold by NPD described as new and improved for heat transfer but most importantly to me is the claim as to its improved durability, my current part lasted 13 years but an improved version would be great as changing this part with a/c is a chore to say the least.
