7T02S2326XX, Dark Moss Green with Saddle Interior
« on: April 25, 2017, 01:30:16 PM »
S-code, GT, Factory 3-speed....turns 50 Today (04-25-2017). Put out to pasture years ago, however it has spent the last 13 years in my garage collecting dust, dirt, and grime from a 7 year restoration on 7T01C2829XX that I just finished. Getting ready to get back on the S-code. What an embarrassing mess I have there!

Bill here is a picture of my car in 1968 somewhere in CT. I wish I could have bought it then...but I was only 4!

That's pretty cool to have picture of your original car. Hopefully this restoration takes a bit less than 7 yrs, but if you end up getting tired of it I am sure we could work a deal😉.

Again, looking forward to seeing the progress.

Scan of the original window received via email from the original owner...unfortunately, I have not been able to acquire the original.

Scan of original build sheet that I found around the wiring harness above ignition switch.
