Hello, i am checking to see what finish should be on the front radius rods and steering stop brackets (bolted to lower control arms).
are they natural steel finish or painted?

The stops were a bare steel and the strut rods were also unpainted steel. Some consider the the strut rods a heat treated steel myself typically have seen originals and service replacements a bare steel not as dark as heat treated steel. If you paint them the faux finish better look like bare steel.

They were not painted originally. With that said some people will use a paint that looks like metal.  Faux finish= imitation of the original finish.
