67 spare tire, Styled Steel Wheel, chrome up or down

Surprisingly this wasn't addressed in a search, was the spare mounted with the chrome part of the wheel facing up and should the jack stand be under the wheel ?

The spare wheel alignment should be on the decal mounted to the trunk lid. It also should be in the owners' manual. It may be in the Osborn Mustang Assembly manuals.

Thanks Jim, the trunk decal calls it valve stem up. Its interesting  how I don't "see" some things right in front of me.
