So with the reference from someone on another board I am active on, I just picked up a barn....err...garage find.
It is a 1965 mustang convertable, 289-4V-4speed, traction lock, disc brake car.
All original, unrestored, and mostly untampered with.
76000 original miles, sitting since 1979

Ok, so I'm doing a little bragging. But hey I'm glad to get it and plan a mechanical restoration to get it running and the try to preserve the rest of it.

What the heck is that thing by the shock tower??  Is that some type of regulator replacement?  Or is it an alarm box?
