Marine Autolite distributors

I have come across an Autolite, 69 dual point distributor C9JF-12127, with a build date of 9C6 and the part number makes it a marine unit. Does anyone know anything about marine spec'd units and if they are the same as automotive units? It came out of a car and so it made the transition to dry land at some stage.
