Is there more than 1 manufacturer on these moldings?

If so whos is better?

Well, My link didn't seem to work.

Surely everyone knows what I am referring to when I say Convertible hockey stick moldings.......

Short of having my originals re-chromed what is everyones opinion of the Drake repros?

Anyone used them?

Anyone had originals re-chromed?

Mine have some lite pitting........

Any idea what re-chroming should cost?

I would personally go with NOS or have originals re-chromed.  My guess is about $150 each to have them done.

If you do go with reproductions, Drakes are the best. I have used them many times on the restorations I do. The snap stud kit with retainers work very well too. The center is stainless so it can be repaired and polished. Hope this helps.  Paul

I bought and used the Scott Drake Hockeysticks on my '65 Vert.  I was very happy with the fit and finish of them.  On the Driver's side corner, I had to fight with it a bit, but it eventually went down with no problems..  I highly recommend them!

Don't ever go with Scott Drake's '65 Side Cove Mouldings (Quarter Panel Emblems) though.  They are absolute crap.  For some unknown reason Scott Drake decided to re-engineer the part and it was a big FAIL! The back sides of the mouldings don't even conture to the side coves of the car and don't even resemble the back sides of the originals.  They are the wrong shape and lip.  A Really crappy Drake part.  Probably the worst Drake part that I ever came across literally.  Stay away from those!
