What is the correct finish for the rear shock mount plates on a NJ built 67?  Thanks, Andrew

The rear spring/shock plates are bare stamped steel as are the front spring seats that the front shocks mount to.

Thanks!!! I'm sure I'll have more questions along the way as I try to put this thing back together.  On the front spring seats is the part that the bolts are pressed into bare steel or is it a heat treated finish like the tie rods?
Thanks,
Andrew
