Painting 71 Mach 1 steel wheels

Anyone know what type and gloss level of paint to use on steel wheels for 71 Mustang?  Car has caps and trim rings.    Thanks,   Ashley

Could not find a reference listing the original color - my best guess would be what was referred to as dark argent - same color though pretty flat as used on the grill and on the side cladding of a 70 Mach I
