Original Gatorbacks - Any Value?
« on: November 12, 2016, 02:01:32 PM »
Finally decided to replace the original tires on my 86 Mustang LX (late 86 production).  The tires only have 12k miles, but the rubber is getting quite hard.  Question is - do the original tires have any value?  No cracking or dry rot that I can see, and 1 tire has a plug in it from about 25 years ago.  Thanks.

Had a set of reproduction gatorbacks installed, very nice.  Indistinguishable from the originals, except for the DOT number.  Old tires gone.
