351C 4V M/T Distributor
« on: March 02, 2018, 02:25:11 PM »
I suspect I know the answer but in the 1975 MPC, both D0OF V and Z are listed for the 351C 4V application. The V, however, is also listed for the 70 GT350, which would be a 351W. Calibration stuff is different. But the listing for V indicates 70/71 so maybe late 70s got the V?

The -V is for MT cars, the -Z is for AT cars.
See the spreadsheet in the library.

Yeah, I saw that but the MPC lists the Z for both S/T and A/T.  I was wondering how it was determined that the S/T designation for Z was incorrect?

I have a working, pretty much excellent condition Vacuum advance, marked G12 for a 4 speed Cleveland car if your interested.

Well, it's either you're wrong, I'm wrong, or the MPC is wrong. I also used the 70 service manual as a reference.
