1966 HiPo Mustang Clutch Fork finish
« on: March 19, 2018, 09:27:55 PM »
Gents,
I'm trying to determine the finish on a 1966 hiPo clutch fork.  Mine doesn't appear it had any paint on it but I found one on ebay that is black and looks very used.  Would this item have been painted black?  Mine looks exactly like this except it's not painted black.

Someone had previously painted this fork black, so I just left it that way. Definitely not an original finish.
