Subject: 65/66 Rocker Panel Repro mouldings -

Anyone ever mount these (Corvex brand)   How good are they... Worth getting??  I'd like some new ones...but my originals are still decent...minor scrape here and there..

Anyone know who sells the best ones??

They will dent if you press hard enough with your thumb.  The metal clips also are not very forgiving.  I can usually install them without damage, but it's very tricky.  Would recommend NOS if you can afford them.

I can afford NOS ones, but I can only find the passenger side... Charles, Any ideas where I can get a NOS Driver's side?

Ebay or parts vendors, all the normal places.  Post some wanted ads on websites.  You might have trouble finding just one.

Can these be restored?  I'm guessing they are aluminum? I've seen some real rough trim pieces brought back to life but it may be more expensive than NOS.
