Title: The-Mustang-Collection closing its doors
Post by: 69GT350H on December 26, 2015, 01:42:20 AM
After many years in business Stanley Jacobs' "Mustang Collection" in Miami Florida is being forced to close by the county for fire code violations. He has a lot of original used early Mustang parts in stock. He would like to sell the entire lot, but is also still trying to sell parts. Anyone looking for real, not repo Mustang parts, give him a call. I understand he will be closed sometime soon, Dec 31st to Jan 31st.

Stan has a large inventory of mostly Early Mustang parts, like the 64 1/2 to 67. He has a small supply of the 68-70 parts. You are more than likely NOT going to find those ultra rare parts, those got sold a long time ago, but he has a warehouse full of OEM parts. Doors, fenders, glass, driveshafts, heater boxes and vents, the list goes on! I went to the warehouse today and spent about an hour talking to Stan. He is going to pay a fine and do a little work to stay open till the middle of February. These are used parts, but they are original FORD MUSTANG parts that are in usable condition.

Contact Stan at 305-264-4130 or email him at miamistang@aol.com

No, I haven't called, I didn't think there would be a way to get it shipped to IL.  I'll have to look a little deeper and see if it's possible.

NPD has Repo 1965 doors, $300 and $400. They ship them freight. Call Stan and see if he has what you need. If he does and will not ship it, let me know. I am sure something can be arranged.

Thanks, sounds like a great idea.  I'd like to put the proper door back on the passenger side, had to put on a '66 because the original was too rusted to fix, and couldn't find a '64 1/2 in the area (this was before the internet).

I may have what your looking for, it will be the shell only. No hardware or window, I know I have one, just want to check the condition it is in.

I am in Ohio

Stan claims to have sold everything including the racks for $10k. My brother has confirmed that a box truck made many trips and emptied the warehouse. This means that someone local (Miami-Dade) purchased it.

He said when I emailed him a couple weeks ago that someone might be buying the whole thing, so it's good that someone did.  Hopefully they'll do a good inventory and go online so more people can buy stuff.

Supposedly everything went to Hialeah. I'll ask around and see if I can find out anything more.

FYI,  any mustang door can be shipped on Greyhound for around $80.  I have shipped 69 doors across country for this.

Only thing is the wing window would need to be removed. Go to a local bicycle shop get a free large bike box , there is enough room to put some padding around it.

Anybody find out where all the parts went?

The parts were moved to the Hialeah or Doral area, but nothing on where they went or what happened to them after that.
