Title: Looking for Parts Suppliers
Post by: Mark69Sportsroof on November 12, 2016, 11:53:22 PM
Hey All,

I am in need for some parts for the 68 Mercury Park Lane.  Right now I need a neutral safety switch and wheel cylinders for the rear drum brakes.  I called NAPA but they don't have any parts or references.  Any help or references would be appreciated.

Thanks Mark

If you know what the Ford equivalent model is you may find Ford part numbers in Ford Car Parts (aka MPC) for your requirements. That usually expands your search over several years.

Thanks Jim.  I have been told that the Ford Galaxie or LTD.  I was just at a mustang junk yard yesterday and checked mustangs, cougars, galaxies with no luck. Thanks so much for the info.  Mark

Try www.rearcounter.com  type in part # or partial number. This would be for nos parts. Hope this helps.

If you know of a 67/68 mercury colony park or Commuter wagon I need the inside panel that covers the spare tire/jack area. I really need the jack decal but figure since it is stuck to the panel and hopefully in good shape I would take the panel.

Thanks Troy.  I will check it out.  I know there is a 1968 Ford or Mercury Station Wagon at the junk yard.  I can check it out for you on the decal.  Just let me know.  Thanks Mark

That would be great. The sticker hopefully is in great shape. Has to be 67/68 mercury colony park or commuter wagon only. On all others the sticker is different.

Thx
Troy

Troy, I was at the junk yard today and saw the 68 Mercury Colony Park station wagon.  I ran out of daylight to verify the side panel/jack decal.  The interior is full of stuff.  It will take me 30 minutes or so clean it out.  I will keep you updated.  Mark
