I'm looking for a correct carburetor for a 1969 390 Mustang. I'm not sure of the part number maybe C8OF-9510-C list 3795-1 ? My car was built 3-17-69. If anyone has one or know of one please email me at mason1958@carolina.rr.com

I believe this is an Autolite 4300 if that helps anyone looking through their pile of old carbs looking for this number.

Going to be a challenge to find one but good luck hope you do. IF you get into a pinch I possible have a NOS one (from a slightly different application) that could fill in until you find the correct one. Just depends if this is holding up a restoration or you can wait. Have a couple of friends that built 69 390 s that went this route so thought I would mention it.

Bought a handful of them in the 90's from a high school that was given a bunch of parts for their automotive class in the late 60's. We're too much use any longer and were just taking up storage space so off they went

that is how i got this carb but from a guy who worked for Ford He went to dealerships for show and tell

Pretty sure you will be looking for a Autolite 4300, C9ZF-C . I'll have to double check my book when I get home to confirm that number. Let me see if I have an extra in my garage, I just might.

It might also be a C9OF-E # instead... maybe someone infront of their carb book can check quicker than me. ;)

C9ZF-9510-E (C9ZF-E) would be correct for 1969 S code with manual transmission and IMCO.

On the positive side this is a bolt on part that can be found, improved upon and swapped out later if you find one. As long as you don't have to modify other supporting items in the mean time. For showing in most concours classes the visible numbers should not produce a deduction as long as the physical characteristics are there. Meaning that if you install a carb designed for an automatic in this case and year you will see deductions if you don't modify it while a carb like the one I posted the picture of likely would not.
Sure that someone might even attempt to restamp bases and replace the id tags. Has been done before on other Autolite carbs in an effort to provide what is expected visually

Believe that one was a manual (can't see a kick down for the auto on the drivers side) would have to dig it out and check the numbers
