Interesting that 63A body code was written in the owner's manual.

I noticed that as well. I believe 63A was for a Mustang fastback and the hardtop Thunderbird. So I would assume thats why the dealer made a typo.

In 1963, "series" 63A was used for T-bird Hardtops, the last year. In 1964, the "series" was changed to 83 for the Hardtop, 85 for the Convertible and 87 for the Landau Hardtop.
