'64 1/2 passenger side headlamp bucket/extension
« on: November 03, 2015, 06:37:43 PM »
Checked the for sales back a year, didn't see one listed.  Saw one on eBay over the weekend, but it was a bit over-priced (?) and also damaged.  Wondering if anybody has one laying around or knows of one.
Primarily need the extension piece, it was replaced a while back, and the guy didn't get the right one.  Not finding the '64 1/2 being made new either.
Would also be interested in a good passenger door as well, had to replace the original, it was too rusted to repair.
Hoping to do a repaint this winter, and want to get the right parts back on it.

**EDITED TO ADD THAT I FOUND ONE**

I have a leftover if you're interested, it's not perfect, it has the usual wear, some cracks and a couple small sections that have broken away (which I have all but one missing piece) but it's still usable, it has been sandblasted and ready for paint and most importantly it's off a 64 1/2.
It is located down under though.
I'd take $70 plus the ride.

Would be hard to repair the missing area where the headlight bucket taut spring attaches.

I was wondering about fixing it up, so I'm glad someone else saw that.
Fortunately, I was able to find a decent one on eBay a couple weeks ago.  It needs blasting, and a couple tabs welded together, but it's all there, so it should do the job.
Forgot that I needed to get here and update this thread.

No problems, please share some pics when it's painted, good luck ;)
