66 C-Code Single Groove pulley's
« on: January 13, 2018, 08:59:53 PM »
In search of original Single groove water and crank pulleys for my late January c code. For the water pump would a C5AE-8509-B be suitable? C5AZ-6312-B for the crank? Ive seen some reproduction water pump pulley's that appear to be of a 2 piece design.

Ryan,
Did you look in the library? In any case, I think that you will find almost all the upper and lower pulleys are multiple pieces.

Remember that though some pulleys are made from multiple pieces they are not designed to come apart and be used separately

Hi rrenz . PM me if you are still searching for those pulleys. I have a stack from previous 289s that I have scavenged and might have what you need. Plus I think you're not too far from me which would make for cheaper shipping. Just trying to help..  ;)

I think the C5AE-A crank pulley goes with the C5AE-B W/P pulley.

Many thanks to Hipo giddyup for helping me out with some pulleys. Finally got this project wrapped up. Previous car this engine was in was set up with AC so finally got the pulleys, fan and water pump bolts replaced.

Thanks. Im still plugging away at minor details here and there but very happy with where I've gotten to. None of which would of been possible without this site for sure.
