I am getting ready to put new seam sealer on my cowl and repaint it body color. My 69 GT350 was built in December, 1968. A prior owner painted the cowl black in the 1970s.
I am looking for a photo that shows where the black ends on the sides and where body color begins. Thanks.

Hi Bob Lets see if we can help
So looking at Martie reports it looks like the production at Dearborn for December 68 for Mustangs was somewhere in the #134xxx-#150xxxx and for Shelbys it was the very early (low digit) vins
The top surface (paint) on the cowl to firewall pinch weld sealant can become discolored or just worn through over the years. basically body color from that forward edge up or rearward
