Title: Carpet and seat covers.

I'm sure this has been covered however.... I'm searching for the best replacement seat covers and carpet for my 65 standard black interior for my k coupe.     Thanks in advance.

For black, TMI is probably the best one.  They have the thin inner beading.  Some of their colors are a bit off, where Distinctive does a better job, but last I saw they were still using the large vinyl-wrapped inner beading which is wrong.  The beading I'm referring to is around the center section.

I just put ACC's mass backed carpet in my 66 coupe last summer. Fit and finish was EXCELLENT. Had initially replaced mine with another lower cost brand and ended up sending it back after a week of sleepless nights. The fit was horrible. Installed the ACC and it looks awesome. My seats are still original so I can't vouch for the TMI covers.

Was the carpet box marked TMI?  I haven't heard of them selling carpet, thought all the 'mass back' carpet came from ACC.

When restoring my 64 1/2 I used TMI seat covers and ACC carpet. I was pleased with both vendors products. Maybe not concours but what other options are there  ;)

No your right. I meant to say ACC.. had TMI on the brain. The acc carpet is awesome.

Dear experts,

I have the same questions about 64 1/2 carpet and seat covers but other colors. I am planing to replace the covers and maybe carpet as well as painting the interior in a correct 64 1/2 white in the next 2 years. Only found 65 white covers (not for 64 1/2). Do you know where 64 1/2 white seat covers can be found? What do you think about the carpet and the shade of white on the door? Correct for 64 1/2?

Color code is 42 among door data plate.
