Alternator - 1965
« on: May 27, 2010, 04:33:36 PM »
On a 1965 mustang, would the alternator casing have Autolite in the mold on the back or would it just have Autolite stamped on the side or both?  There is one on ebay and it has Autolite on that back:

Curious as to if this is original

Thanks

Would have had no molded 'Autolite' on the back, just an ink stamp (typically on the bottom on a '65)

funny that alt. is listed as a 65 to 69 but has a 70 part number on the case half.
