My fastback had the light for the shifter in the hole, but not attached to anything. I decided today to attach it so I can see what gear I am in
. Problem is I don't think it will stay. From the pictures I find online it clips into a bracket that is attached to the shifter. Mine has no bracket just a recanglular hole in the shifter that I shoved it into.
I don't think it will stay.
Is this something that changed over the years, or is different by plant? Mine is an early Oct 64 San Jose car.
