It does look like the engine bay was possibly repainted. Some of the hardware appears to of been painted over. Left fender has what looks to be a little bit of black on the edge.

+1 to the engine bay being at least "touched up", looks like tape lines around the shock tower sticker and bolts being painted over, overspray on the horn wiring, etc.. yet it states all original? Seeing is believing in this case, still a nice example. I hear there will be a bunch of VERY low mile fox bodies, some with under 50 miles and no dealer prep... quite impressive though a bit off topic.

Been to B-J in Scottsdale and Russo & Steele when Charles was selling his convert.  Also been to Las Vegas B-J twice.  Most of the time the pictures look good but the cars don't.  I am only talking early cars.  Some of the cars get sold and then on to the next auction.

I'll take the SVO.   Pretty sure that's an original car!  ;)   Not so sure about the '65.

Hard to say what has been touched up without seeing in person.  I would have removed the aftermarket overflow.

That's nuts. Will post some pics of the car tomorrow evening.  Any requests on certain areas?

It looks to me like the "Battery OK" sticker has black spray paint on it. Also where are the unique convertible braces in the engine compartment? This is a 65 not a 64.5 car.  Weren't the braces factory installed by then?  The VIN starts with 330xxx.

The braces were added around November '64.
