1965 Red Interior Paint Code Required.

Hi Guys,
Silly me went and stripped the paint off of the upper dash / windshield trim and speaker/de-mister air vent grill in the crash pad thinking that it was the same as the exterior Rangoon Red colour or that I would be able to find the code on-line but to this point I've had no luck. I have tried the Ditzler (PPG) 71315 code and the original 5755R codes with a 60 year old auto paint shop with no success. Does anyone have a current paint code?

Only Red Interior Paint shown in the 1965 Parts and Accessories Catalog is M4J 1429S.

Believe it will have to be custom mixed or find someone who has already done that, is using the same type of paint as you and shares the mix.  Other option, as I mentioned in the other thread you posted to today , is contacting Auto Color Library and just buying the paint from them

Can I suggest you contact Tony Fable within MOCA Vic, as he's completed a couple of cars with Red interior I believe.
