I see the spline differs for the crank handle, is this the only difference?

Yes, on 1967-68 door and quarter regulators, the difference is the splined shafts. Reason for the change was the window cranks.

Hi All, and just for knowledge.....on the door window regulators you can install a 68 regulator in a 67 and the chrome window handle will fit but not vice versa. A 68 window handle will not fit a 67 regulator unless you cut off the edge to the splines. This only applies to the door window regulators. Just in case anyone is wanting NOS regulators and can not find the correct year.
