65 Convertible Window Alignment
« on: May 25, 2017, 08:06:00 PM »
The driver side window on my convertible does not line up with the rear quarter window like it does on the passenger side (pics of alignment for both sides shown).

How can I adjust the window to get it aligned correctly?

The door glass and vent frame have to be set properly before doing the quarter glass.  Assuming the door glass is in the proper position, to get the quarter glass angled back in, you have to loosen the L bracket at the bottom and slide it outward.

Most of the adjustments should be self-explanatory and I believe are also referenced in the assembly manuals.

Charles, thanks, I'll try adjusting the quarter glass first, see if that gets all three aligned. The vent glass and door glass are aligned.
