Fuel Filter Canister
« on: February 13, 2011, 10:49:21 AM »
I have an original fuel filter canister for 65 Mustang (white w/ red lettering), but most of the paint is gone and you can hardly see the red print but there are remnants of it.  How are you guys restoring these?  What color white do you use since I know it isn't a bright white?  Also what are you using for the lettering?  I really don't want to use the decal (since it is missing the stars)...Is there a stencil someone is using?

Thanks
Chris

There was a guy on the hi-po forum (kar-nut) that had some stencils made, but don't know if he still has them or is willing to run more.  I think he might have sold his car, so not even sure if he still visits the forums.

Otherwise, probably have to take on the project of creating a stencil.
