NOS Door Interior Grain
« on: April 12, 2011, 05:26:11 PM »
Do NOS 1965/66 Ford doors have good grain stamping on the interior?
If it's like the new repro doors, I don't want to get them, but if they look
like factory, I'm willing to give a premium!

If the NOS piece is made from the original tooling, which I wouldn't see reason why it wouldn't be, then it ought to have the same grain texture.  I've seen the repro doors, they leave a lot to be desired in this detail.

Hello there, I am new here since I just found your site.  Been in the MCA for many years and a Mustang guy for over 20.

I just ordered one of the new Dynacorn repro doors yesterday for my car and from what I am hearing they are just like the originals.  I will be glad to let you know what kind of quality they are once it arrives.  Also, I found a place in GA that sells the used doors in great condition for $700 if it ends up you need one and have no source.
