My non-Shelby, 11/02/1966, S.J. built coupe with factory disc brakes has the early design calipers. As mentioned already, the change-over should be the same date for all Mustangs. I would think you should have the early ones too in my opinion.

Thanks Richard.

One question if you don't mind, if as Bob suggests, that the change to 71312 occurred at the same time as the change from the 7/16 to 3/8 inlet, how would we (or I maybe) reconcile the fact that these have the 7/16 inlet? Were they (71312 style that is) known to have been (or not been as the case may be) installed on Mustangs or other Ford models of this vintage, or perhaps because they're 3rd party (K/H) maybe installed on another mark's offering? Or service parts maybe?

Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind, I understand now. A case of age related fractional dyslexia (I'm making that up) mixed with wishful thinking I suppose.
