The actual carb is a Carter YF. The Ford parts book listed many which narrowed down to Holley, Ford and Carter types. Holley was easy to rule out and Carter seemed to be later about 70. Not sure what they mean by Ford model carb. The pictures matched the Carter carb and I saw Carter YF on the carb. The carb with missing parts was in fairly nice nice condition. Not sure if it was close to the original but it did match the Ford pictures and the carb rebuild kit pictures.
