Title: 67 headlight buckets,sprayed,dipped? semi-flat or satin

^7 headlight buckets (Metuchen) were these sprayed or dipped?
Is correct finish semi-flat or satin black.
Same as engine compartment?

Trying to remember if I've ever seen drips, runs or curtains and honestly I can't. Would say that the finish is much closer to gloss than engine compartment black IMHO.

Sure you'll get some additional observations

Leaving the post here because even though you focused on 67 and plant (thanks) the finish and applications I believe applies across many years, and plants

I placed it here not knowing if there were any plant variations.
 I've had the pleasant discover that me buckets were only mildly rested. a little steel wool + Eastwood rest encapusulator & I'm ready for paint.
