'67 (289) ignition coil wire
« on: July 06, 2015, 09:02:32 PM »
I need to replace the red ignition coil wire and I'm looking for an original plug in harness to take the red wire out and put it in my original...(PO cut the wire to install electronic ignition...I'm going back to original ignition system)  I see the wire is thicker than the same coil wire on my '66...I'm wondering if there is a reason for that so I make sure I get the correct gauge wire to put in my harness.

It'll be 16 gauge wire, but it is red with green stripe.  I probably have that wire with a long pigtail that you can splice it in under the tape.

I'll be happy to purchase the wire from you...it will save me from having to purchase a complete harness just to remove the wire I need and splice it into my harness.
