Good luck with the tires. They are a real issue right now. Nobody makes them repro and nobody makes 195/70/13 rwl anymore. I was lucky to have a distributor find a set for my ghia sitting at a dealership in south Georgia. When I built my King, Cooper was the only one making them even then (2002). The rules are being changed to allow any size 13" on original wheels until something better is available.

Me to!
Corky Coker is our best person to get the tires repoped.
(Corky is a Mustang Man, a Friend of mind got a 1969 GT 500 off him a few years ago.)
I would like to get a list going ,of people who would buy Mustang II tires if he repops them.
Cooper Tires was the last to have the 195's  The Cooper Cobra's  that was a few years ago.

I had a set of  B.F. Goodridge T/A's with  3000 miles on them wreck me.
They were 5 years old with NO sign of dry rot

If a tire is over 5 years old I would not drive at highway speed.
Just on and off the Trailer!

Pop over to mustangII.net. There are a lot of guys over there that need tires. I don't know how many it would take to get this done but pretty sson we aren't going to be able to get any size 13". I wish I could get my hands on the genius at Ford that decided that they were a good idea to start with.

I am going to Ashville NC to the big Mustang Show. This weekend. 9-26 to 9-27
If anyone is going, stop me & say HI.

I am a 1964 Mustang nut to, and I am getting 13" 5 lugs rims off of a guy I meet in Raleigh, NC
at this show.

MMmm... Something else we need 13" tires for!

I wish I could. Going to the inlaws in Alabama. I'm probably shut down until Pensacola. I'm going to take the front seat belts out of the KC in a couple of weeks and get them rewebbed.
