Finish on Carb Spacer
« on: October 16, 2013, 04:42:13 PM »
What is the correct finish on the 2bbl carb spacers in 65?  I believe its an aluminum part and suspect its one you can replicate by media blasting it and leaving as is?  Can anyone confirm this?

Most of the spacers I have seen have been painted block color.  The spacer on my 65 was black.

I noticed the same thing. The rules specify the intake manifold should be block color, but are silent on the carb spacer.
