correct washer bottle for a 70 Mustang

Would like to find a nice orig one but if I had to buy a repo who has most correct one?

Bought one from Mustangs Unlimited last year and the mounting holes did not line up......sold in a Motorcraft box....

my car is a June 1970 built Dearborn car...

I believe that the only difference between the original and the repo is that there is a 2 digit number under the part number on the original lid. the repo only has the main part number on it.

just installed the one above from Va Classic Mustang and it fits perfect and looks spot on

I see that Mustangs Unlimited sells two different windshield washer reservoirs for 70 Mustangs.  They admit on their website that the Ford (Motorcraft) reservoir isn't concours quality possibly due to design changes in subsequent years.  The reproduction reservoir is a "more correct version".  Interestingly, the more correct reservoir is $7 less expensive than the Motorcraft.

THe Motorcraft one the brackets do not line up with mounting holes so don't bother


The one I bought I had to buy the pump separate...
