67’ Brake Booster ID Tag?
« on: November 29, 2019, 12:15:48 PM »
I’m searching for a brake booster tag for my 67’ GT 350, is there something specific I need to look for as far as numbers/letters on one?
 Car is built October 10/66

Did you locate this thread when you did your search? Fair amount of info in that one Would suggest that if that does not provide you with enough information you might want to post a request or question there.

You need a C7 marked tag compared to the somewhat more common C8 marked tag. FYI they are not very readable once installed . From the MFG they are folded over the machine bolt and are painted black. Sometimes they are even installed with the reverse side of the tag up and then folded over which makes it extra hard to distinguish.

So I’m starting to narrow this tag down to, correct me if I’m wrong, a C7ZA- 2005- C
                                                                                                     C-4262-D
I’m using MPC, photos provided, and forum threads for reference.
Thanks
