Title: Tire pressure decal - Feb 13 San Jose
Post by: CCP on August 31, 2017, 02:59:08 PM
Hi guys. Working on a '69 Mach 1, 428 C6 with a build date of Feb. 13. Car is back from the paint shop, and need to know where the tire pressure decal is supposed to go. The car was previously painted, so there was no old decal to go by. My dilemma is that the decal from National Parts is too big to fit on the door frame above the latch, which is where I've seen photos of the decal. The back of the decal says ' RH door jamb'. The only way it will fit is to turn it sideways, which doesn't sound right.
Would appreciate any help at all.

                       Thanks, Pete.

I suppose you already used the search feature and found the following

Hopefully you purchased the correct tire pressure decal for the time period your car was finished in as the subject has been discussed in the past. Here is a thread related to the subject  BTW the first picture is from another San Jose example

Thanks for the help. That is exactly what I was looking for. Looks like I just ordered the wrong decal. Much appreciated.
