Title: TSB Article #401 - Spare Tire Rattle
Post by: J_Speegle on September 01, 2017, 07:10:20 PM
Doing a series of TSB info dump threads since I was in the collection today and figured I should gab a handful while I had them out

As the title stated this was a fix suggested to the servicing managers and mechanics after deliver to address complaints or issues.  In this example it also references when the change was incorporated into use on the assembly line and other information

Have anyone seen this TSB done "back-in-the-day"?  I'm considering doing this for my Oct '64 SJ fastback because the bracket (and the floor just beneath the bolt head) is deformed.  Probably happened when the car was hit in the rear many years ago.  I prefer the later style hold down system.
