Has anyone attempted this before? I have some nice assembly line hangers that need new rubber. Rubber appears to be Bias ply tire sidewall which I can probably find....however cutting it into strips might be a challenge, then need a source for rivets. Thanks, Mike.

NPD has had exhaust hangers reproduced. Most recently the '65 Arvinode type. Their rivets are a little off compared to original, but would take a pretty sharp eye to know the difference. I imagine with the proper rivet dies, could be pressed in a vice or hydraulic press. Hanson rivet will make custom rivets, but the minimum order might be a killer. A vibratory tumbler would make the steel brackets look like new. Ford serviced the rubber pieces, you can find them on ebay pretty often. Maybe not 100% exactly like original, but look close.
