Title: Radiator side shield fasteners
Post by: 67gta289 on February 11, 2010, 08:50:43 PM
(67 SJ) When I removed my radiator side shield/filler plates, the mounting screws were held captive to the plates by thin spring steel retainers.  They look exactly like the factory installed brake drum retainers.  Is this a correct application?  If so, I have 3 and need a source for 1 more.  If not, I've got 3 brake drum retainers for sale :-X Thanks, John

I've not seen the bolts that attach the spacers/fillers to the side straps being held in place with press on retainers
