Yes nice work and thanks for the insight. Hard to believe that almost ten years has passed since it was posted. BTW the article is also posted in the Library section of this site with Marcus' permission  ;)

1964 1/2 - 1965 / Re: 1694.5 Flasher location

An assembly line flasher "should be" in a bracket attached to the left vent, or very close to it. If you have a copy pf the 1964 Mustang Electrical Manual (AM0003), pg 15, it's shown as item 4.
If you are a "large" driver (I'm 6 ft), consider removing the driver's seat and placing a packing blanket on the floor. It goes easier on the back that way.

1964 1/2 - 1965 / 1694.5 Flasher location
« Last post by Corey Bowcutt on April 13, 2024, 11:57:16 AM »
I have a 1964.5 Convertible project I am working on.  I have gotten everything to work except the turn signals.  I have checked all fuses and they are good.  My next step was to check the flasher but I cannot for the life of me find it.  Any suggestions on where to look?  I have looked at the electrical assembly manual and electrical diagrams and that has been no help.

Thank you,

Corey

Lots of them - it might help if we knew what diameter, the end design, and perhaps the application. Far too many options otherwise.

Here's a guide:

1969 - 70 Shelby / Re: Space Saver Spare Tire Felt
« Last post by hopey on April 13, 2024, 08:09:10 AM »
Anybody seen the yellow stripe on a shelby SS spare tire cover felt as i have seen 2 types of felts?

Similar question, I have also seen two types of felts. The thick grey one which is typically seen in Dearborn builds and a more brown colored felt which I have seen in at least a couple of 1970 BOSS 302 Metuchen builds. This is an example of the other felt. Has anyone else documented examples of this, was it a assembly plant difference or just a coincidence I saw it in Metuchen builds?
