The official Ford part number and descriptions are: "Bracket, Front Fender to Pillar Mounting"; C7ZB-16A005 & C7ZB-16A006 (LH & RH). Apparently it is not serviced (no "C7ZZ-" number).
(I used several as standoffs for my antenna cables. They are not re-usable.)

Thks guys for the help and these clips. I have managed to find a set so all good.

Tell me what goes in the square hole at the end ? I am assuming a fender clip needs to go over the square hole so a fender bolt and turn into it ?

The clip goes on the fender and the bolt goes through the bracket.

And, if the picture is indicative of assembly line, they are assembled on the car along with the doors and hinges when the car is painted. I think more paint on the front side of the bracket than the rear due to how the hinges almost hide the rear side.

Due to how I have to handle certain details that I can't let my painter do (time=money) I'm going to paint certain sections of my car with single stage completely out of order and need to verify this detail. In other words, I'm painting the A-piller area by the hinges now.

I do have a few cars in my "list", so to clarify,  this would be for my SJ car.
Thanks!

The SJ brackets were typically painted . The amount of paint can vary for reasons you mentioned.

RE: San Jose Examples...
1.) So painted BODY COLOR while bolted to the A-pillar?
2.) Was semi-gloss black found on brackets prior to bolting to the A-pillar?
3.) Was spray-on Seam sealer applied OVER the inside edge/bolt as seen in the image of the O.P.?

I'm used to seeing these brackets painted black, but most of the 67-8's I've worked on were either Metuchen or Dearborn.

I might warn you and others that if you have Spectrum in this area you might have to break out a chisel in order to whack at the Spectrum to get this bracket to fit.

There is a lot of paint in this area. Red oxide, black on bracket, then primer, exterior paint and then possibly black when you paint the front clip semi-gloss.

One of the reasons I asked is that (unlike factory) I want paint under the hinges. I'm also going to do the under-floor paint overspray with primer, single stage exterior color and then blackout.
The exterior side of the pinch weld and other areas will be covered with paper.

Later, my painter will tape off behind the pinch weld and paint the car without trying to do the overspray the way I want.
After the paint is complete we do just the outside blackout of the pinch weld.
