Front and Rear Shock painting

Were the the shocks originally sprayed or dipped?

sprayed. On the competition suspension shocks you can see marks from the wires they were hung on.

Tim did they hang them from the top or bottom? Any pics?

Top but that is the comp suspension with the adjustment discs on top. I would think the procedure was similar for all shocks.
